English Interview Reliability
The English Interview (IM) exam portal guarantees its reliability in accordance with the Common European Framework in three ways.
1. EXAM RELIABILITY
16-DIGIT SINGLE USE PERSONAL EXAM KEY
IM exam is accessed via a single use 16-digit exam key; these keys may not be used again by the candidate or another party once they have been entered into the system. The keys provided are for the specific exam subject requested.
THE RECORD OF THE CANDIDATE DURING THE EXAM AND ONLINE CONCURRENT VIEWABILITY FEATURE
During IM’s online writing section, the test program is designed to capture an image of the candidate every six seconds. Thanks to this infrastructural feature, IM is able to check and confirm the identity of the test taker during the exam. Thus, users can be assured of the trustworthiness of the test, and that candidates are disincentivized from cheating.
IMPROBABILITY OF OPENING A NEW TAB or WINDOW ON THE SCREEN
Should a candidate try to open a link in a new tab , the system will the terminate the exam and it will be declared null and void. As the 16-digit key cannot be used a second time, the candidate cannot ask for a speaking exam appointment.
In the case of speaking exams, the recordings of these exams are sent to your company so that they may be consulted in the event of any objections to the results.
TIME LIMITATION FOR EACH EXAM SECTION
Both the sections of the exam and the exam itself have automatically imposed time limits. Due to these limits, candidates are prevented from accessing and consulting other materials from which they may draw the answers.
2. EXAM CONTENT RELIABILITY
HIGHLY VARIED EXAM CONTENT
IM uses multi-variational exam infrastructure in line with global exams. The 16-digit exam code leads to a pack consisting of the questions that the software picks automatically from the question pool. This includes questions about the position for which the candidate has applied. In this way, each candidate applying for the same position faces a unique set of test questions.
3. RELIABLITY OF REPORTING
COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK SCALES
With its professional exam infrastructure, IM pays great attention to detail while composing the exam packs. Focus is given to both question difficulty and amount in order for equal and fair assessments to be applied to every candidate. IM ensures the reliability of its exam by using exam scales in accordance with the Common European Framework (CEFR).
